A hotel management trainee is required to work in close association with different departments as front desk, housekeeping, event organizer etc. Some of the key responsibilities that are taught and polished in Hotel Management Training Programs are-
• Housekeeping – Housekeepers are expected to provide services for guests and to preserve the form of hotel.
• Stewardship/waiting – These incumbents are expected to welcome guests, to ensure guest satisfaction, order taking, handling complaints etc.
• Front office Tasks - Front office executive are expected to deal with customers and to convey hotel services to guests.
• Hotel assistant managerial- Hotel assistant manager is supposed to take care of hiring, training, recruiting and supervising other members of the staff. A manager also has to be really resourceful.
• Food production - They are taught to carry out work in an organized way and to work as a dedicated team member for better functioning and for effective execution.
